We are definitely enjoying our new kitties! Theo was ready to explore every inch of his new home the moment he left his  carrier.  He convinced me, though, that he needed lots of petting for  reassurance! :)  He is settling in very well- he loves his cat grass and  catnip scratching posts.  Wherever I am in the condo, I can count on him to  be right there checking out what I'm up to!  He is finding his favorite hang outs and has claimed our overstuffed chair as his! We just finished a great play session and now and he has jumped up at the  end of the couch with me for a rest. Allie is doing great!  Much to my suprise and delightment she came out from  behind the couch after 4 hours and has not returned since!      Sidenote:   Theo tried to sqeeze in behind the couch a couple of times in a row and was  unhappy that he couldn't get behind due to his size.  I pulled one end of  the couch out a bit so he could fit and visit his Allie! She was timid during her first exploration of her home but enjoyed my  company along the way.  Now she craves our attention and is so playful. I  think she comes up for pets even more than than Theo! She is certainly on  the lookout for ways to get to those high spots in our condo to jump up to. Right now she is is having a great time wrestling with her catnip mousie! Its so cute to watch the two of them getting to know our condo.  Theo checks out an area and Allie is right behind him- his little shadow.  Though, I  have seen Theo following Allie to check out what she has discovered! Quite funny-  Our little nocturnal kitties were surprised to come in at 1:00 last night to play and find their new friends way to sleepy to roustabout.  Their zest was quite funny.  Allie- lover of heights- jumped up on our headbord- I caught her just before she dive bomed my boyfriend's stomach- they were having a great time- and I  was very happy they wanted to include us-but in time they will understand  that nightime romps are not for humans!  They settled down after not too  long and they were sleeping together in my bed this morning when I woke up! As of now, I can't imagine any problems- we seem to all take to each other  very well   I think they are certainly a great addition to our home!
