Here a some shots of Nellie. As you can see my two Torties look pretty cute together :) Nellie loves her RESCUE pillow and sleeps on it every night. I think she enjoyed Christmas and she was really good about not getting into  things - just the last few days I had things up she started to play with some of the evergreen arrangements but no big deal...  

 

December and January Nellie has had some set backs -  In Dec I had to give her  two baths  and Jan has seen a return of "plugs" about every other day. With the ok of Dr. Wight we put her back on Metacam - one drop every other day - and she is still on the DM only diet. She has only been on the meds for a week and the last few days have been better. We thought that maybe the colder weather kicked up  the arthritis in her lower back so we will see if the Metacam can help.

 

Otherwise she is doing great - she found that my cupboards can open and she was able to pull a package of unopened Fig Newtons down from the second shelf of my pantry and get a few nibbles (I called the vet and they said unless  we saw any problems  she was ok). She loves to chase shadows and to cuddle and she always makes us laugh.

 

Miss Nellie Belle is a sweetie!!
